• 5:00-6:00pm - Pop-Up Vendor Showcase + Complimentary Dinner featuring local Claiborne Businesses

• 6:00-7:30pm - Pitch Competition: Highlighting local businesses rooted on Claiborne Ave

The Day's Events in Detail

​

Attendees will hear about Claiborne's heritage, past and present, from community leaders and local business owners through a panel discussion led by Chuck Morse, Executive Director of Thrive New Orleans, and Asali DeVan Ecclesiastes, Director of Strategic Neighborhood Development of the New Orleans Business Alliance.

​

Afterward, attendees can enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Launch NOLA alumni businesses, while the CID shares how local business owners are able to get involved with the revitalization efforts and markets under I-10, as well as with Launch NOLA’s programming.

​

In the evening, attendees can enjoy a complimentary “Pop-up Showcase” event, with local food and other pop-up vendors before rooting for local Claiborne Businesses in a joint CID + Launch NOLA Pitch competition, highlighting business owners rooted on Claiborne Avenue.

​

The evening will conclude with live music, spoken word, and storytelling from local artists, celebrating and showcasing the cultural lifeblood that fuels the community around the Claiborne Corridor.
